About the Company/Team OFS Consulting is a team that implements Oracle Financial Services Analytical Application (OFSAA) products in various Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 banks and financial institutions. Our team has experience in deploying OFSAA product solutions for our clients on a global basis, with implementations across Asia Pacific, Africa, Americas, Middle East, and Europe.

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled ERM/EPM/IFRS17 Functional Consultant to join our team, with expertise in implementing OFSAA products, particularly in the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), and IFRS17 domains. The successful candidate will have knowledge of banking and/or banking analytics experience, and will provide functional inputs and work closely with both technical and functional subject matter experts, and other project team members to successfully deploy the OFSAA products.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand client functional and business team requirements and qualify the requirements as per the product functionality
• Conduct workshops and trainings on the product functional scope
• Take care of the functional delivery responsibility by delivering the mapping support, BRD preparation, support for configuration, testing, and rollout
• Work on Agile/Water-Scrum-Fall based development methodology
• Support the testing phase (System Testing, SIT, UAT, Production) and ensure quick turnaround of defect fixes

Qualifications & Skills

• Mandatory:
  • MBAs (Finance), CAs, CFAs, with experience from MNC banks, private sector banks, rating agencies, consulting firms, or high-end risk analytics KPO firms
  • FRM's / NCFM Certification is desirable
  • General - Knowledge of Core Banking with Expertise in one or more of the following areas - Corporate and retail credit risk, Policies and processes, credit appraisal and monitoring, credit training and scoring, credit derivatives and credit portfolio management, securitization and loan approval for retail and SME
  • For Basel II - Implementation of Basel and good knowledge of Basel and local regulatory guidelines
  • For EPM - Expert in Profitability (PFT), Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP), Balance Sheet Planning (BSP), GL Reconciliation should have at least 8 - 17 years of experience which includes exposure to risk rating, scorecard development and development, implementation, and validation of quantitative models in credit, market, and operational risk areas
  • For ERM - Expert in Basel, Market Risk (MR), Asset Liability Management (ALM), Counter Party Risk, Liquidity Risk, Capital Management, Basel Regulatory Capital, Economic Capital Advanced Credit Risk, Operations Risk and should have implemented these in any large Bank or Financial institution in a Functional capacity
  • For IFRS 17 - with end-to-end implementation experience on one of the major insurance clients, worked with similar products like SAS, Moody's IFRS 17 solutions, Designing process and procedure to acquire source data, modeling of IFRS17 data elements, and defining a Data quality framework, understanding of Milliman Integrate (IFRS17 Engine), model designs (BBA, VFA, PAA), etc.
  • 5+ years of experience in OFSAA ERM/EPM/IFRS17 product implementation or similar products
• Desired:
  • Preferably from the banking domain with OFSAA product implementation experience
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies
  • Strong knowledge in ERM/EPM/IFRS17 products
  • Desire to get upskilled to the latest in functional areas like Machine learning, Block Chain, etc. and implement them in the project

Key responsibilities:

 

• Provide functional inputs and work closely with both Technical and other project team members to successfully deploy the OFSAA products.
• Conduct user workshops and functional trainings
• Understand the client requirement and prepare gap analysis document
• Prepare functional design document for the implementation including customization
• Support user testing 
• Adopt and contribute to OFSAA ERM best practice methodologies for knowledge dissemination throughout the OFSAA Delivery organization. 
• Understanding of system security principles, specifically around user authorization and authentication methods and technologies
