Senior Software Developer - Generative AI and Large Language Models

Consulting Member of Technical Staff

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer with 15+ years of expertise to join database engineering team, with strong preference for candidates with experience in Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures for Generative AI and LLM-powered systems. This role focuses on designing and developing cutting-edge solutions that leverage Generative AI and LLMs within a robust software architecture framework, frequently operating at the leading edge of AI technology innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for Generative AI and LLM systems, applications, tools, networks, and specialized AI infrastructure
• Define specifications for significant new Generative AI and LLM projects and design and develop software according to those specifications
• Perform professional software development tasks associated with developing, designing, and debugging Generative AI applications, LLM-powered services.
• Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new Generative AI and LLM-based products, services, and processes at the forefront of AI innovation
• Recommend and justify major changes to existing products, services, and processes to enhance Generative AI integration, LLM capabilities, and system architecture
• Lead architectural decisions and establish best practices for AI-powered applications across the organization.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging LLM technologies and generative AI frameworks into production systems
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and implement scalable, maintainable solutions

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional software development and engineering experience, with strong preference for hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLMs.
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience relevant to the role.
• Advanced knowledge of Generative AI concepts, LLM fundamentals, and their practical applications in production systems
• Deep understanding of modern software design patterns and principles (microservices, etc.)
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, Java, C++, Go, or similar)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
