Control-M Administrator

Control-M & Control-D Administration in Linux/MF, Patching, Batch Scheduling. • Strong understanding of Control-M Enterprise Manager, Server, Agent, and Managed File Transfer (MFT). • Proficient in job scheduling, monitoring, and administration of Control-M. • Ability to implement complex scheduling logic and configure Control-M calendars, conditions, resources. • Create and manage jobs using Control-M MFT and Application Integrator modules. • Perform installation, in-place upgrades, patching, and migration of all BMC Control-M components (Enterprise Manager, Server, Agent). • Configure SSL certificates and perform disaster recovery activities. • Administer and monitor Control-M environments, ensuring optimal performance and SLA adherence. • Handle changes, tasks, and incidents in the support queue, ensuring timely resolution • Perform root cause analysis of encountered issues and coordinate with customers for resolution. • Generate reports and maintain documentation for operational transparency. • Integrate Control-M with cloud platforms using the modules (e.g., AWS). • Demonstrate basic scripting knowledge for automation. • Hands-on experience in installation, upgrade, migration, and patching of Control-M components. • Experience in incident management, change handling, and task resolution using Cherwell or similar tools.
