Job Description – Associate Consultant, Managed Services - ISD - Procurement

Roles & responsibilities

R2P Operations & Service Delivery

• Manage end‑to‑end Coupa Modules within a Managed Services model (e.g., requisitioning, approvals, PO processing, supplier onboarding, invoice exception handling, catalog management, helpdesk/ticketing).

• Ensure consistent delivery across the R2P lifecycle in alignment with agreed SLAs/KPIs.

• Monitor Coupa platform performance, identify recurring issues, and ensure root‑cause resolution.

Testing & Release Support

• Lead and support SIT, UAT, and regression testing during patches, new releases, and enhancement rollouts.

• Validate end‑to‑end Process flows after system upgrades or integrations if required.

Application Support & Issue Resolution

• Provide L1 functional support for procurement platforms such as Coupa, Ariba, Ivalua, GEP, Zycus, Jaggaer, Fieldglass, CLM tools.

• Handle functional troubleshooting, configuration fixes, master data issues, and workflow errors.

• Coordinate with client IT/ERP teams for integration‑related incidents and data synchronization issues.

Continuous Improvement & Optimization

• Analyze support trends and propose system/process improvements.

• Drive automation opportunities, process standardization, and best‑practice adoption.

• Conduct periodic health checks, release impact assessments, and platform optimization reviews.

Governance, Reporting & Stakeholder Management

• Facilitate weekly/monthly governance calls with key stakeholders.

• Prepare service performance reports and insights on SLA adherence, ticket trends, and improvement opportunities.

• Maintain strong client relationships by addressing concerns proactively.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

• Maintain all knowledge assets such as SOPs, process maps, configuration documents, functional logs, and workaround repositories.

• Support creation of release notes, testing documents, and training materials for stakeholders.

Industry & Technology Awareness

• Stay updated on procurement best practices, platform enhancements, and emerging Procurement technologies.

• Contribute to internal innovation and capability-building initiatives.

Mandatory technical skills

• Hands‑on experience with one or more procurement platforms: Coupa, Ariba, Ivalua, Zycus, GEP, Jaggaer etc. 

• Strong understanding of Procurement processes and Spend management principles.

• Hands-on experience in creating documents at various stages of the project like creating to-be process flows, business process documents, configuration workbook, testing strategy, identify and finalize test scenarios and test scripts, training documents etc.

• Leading testing phases (SIT/UAT/Regression)

• Integration with client ERP’s will be a plus

• Prior experience delivering Managed Services/ steady state support in Coupa or any other Procurement Technology. 

• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end Requisition‑to‑Pay processes and spend management principles. 

• Experience in: 

• Functional troubleshooting and platform configuration
• Running functional design/requirement workshops where needed
• Creating required documentation: SOPs, process flows, config logs, test scripts, and communication materials
• Leading/testing during patches and enhancements

• Integration knowledge with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics) is a strong plus

 

• Qualifications

• Educational qualifications

• Post-Graduate/MBA/PGDM preferred

• B.E/B.Tech equivalent from reputed institute

• Certifications in Coupa or any related technology/platform will be preferred
