Job Title: Credit Risk Analyst

Location: Bangalore

Business & Team: Retail Operations & VERO Team

Impact & contribution: Credit analysis, decisioning, verification, monitoring throughout the credit lifecycle; the development of credit policy; or the implementation of credit strategies, including problem asset strategies; across the retail or corporate business

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyse home loan applications against credit limits and frameworks.
  • Apply your knowledge of Australian home loan lending processes and regulations.
  • Support credit risk management initiatives by working with management teams.
  • Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to assess and manage credit risks associated with home loan applications.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment to meet deadlines.
  • Communicate credit risk analysis results clearly and concisely.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of credit risk assessment tools and processes.
  • Work productively as part of a team or independently to meet deadlines; provides coaching to team members.
  • Communicates results and analysis of credit risks to management and key internal stakeholders and actions those with the business unit

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a related credit risk analysis or verification role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
  • Working knowledge of Australian home loan lending principles and regulations.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, or Business.
