Summary: A Siemens Opcenter Discrete developer is responsible for designing, customizing, and implementing MES solutions for discrete manufacturing using Opcenter Execution Discrete. They develop production workflows, integrate with shop-floor systems, and ensure alignment with manufacturing business logic and process requirements. Must Have skillset: Siemens OpCenter Execution Discrete Roles & Responsibilities: (The ideal candidate for the role has/is): -Design, develop, and customize Opcenter applications using Siemens Opcenter software tools and technologies. -Experience with Visual Studio for writing code to meet requirements which need customizations. -Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and development tasks. -Develop and implement integration solutions to connect MOM with other enterprise systems such as ERP, PLM, and SCADA. -Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of Opcenter and MOM applications to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. -Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, development processes, and system configurations provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Opcenter and MOM applications. -Ability to drive integration, design and configurations with multiple systems -E2E design & development experience -Strong experience in Siemens Opcenter MES architecture. -Camstar enterprise platform/ Opcenter MD&D packaged solutions including Camstar/ Opcenter configuration and installation activities. Preferred Skillset (addition to above): -Support and troubleshooting in execution of Discrete industries. Professional & Technical Skills: -Minimum 6+ years of software development experience -Hands-on development experience in Mendix platform and at least 3 years working experience in Mendix Platform -Has web development experience and proficient in programming languages such as Java or .Net -Strong knowledge in SQL -Develop screens/reports using Mendix platform -Should have experience integrating Mendix with MES platform such as Opcenter Execution Core -Integrate Mendix applications with external systems using APIs and web services. -Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Mendix applications. -Flexibility to work with overlapping onsite/offshore time zones Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering MES. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
