Summary:
The SAP GenAI SME is responsible for enabling and scaling GenAI-driven SAP delivery using Agent Manager. The role acts as a bridge between SAP delivery teams and GenAI platform teams, ensuring SAP-specific knowledge, standards, and delivery expectations are accurately translated into GenAI use cases, prompts, and outputs across the SAP delivery lifecycle.

Required SAP Knowledge & Experience
Experience in SAP implementation projects (Technical – ABAP/RAP or Functional).
Hands-on experience creating FD, TD, BRD, BPD, and test cases.
Strong understanding of SAP delivery lifecycle: Initiate, Confirm, Design, Build & Test, Go-Live, Hypercare.
Ability to review and validate SAP outputs generated by GenAI tools.

GenAI & Tooling Skills (nice to have)
Experience working with GenAI platforms (Agentic AI basic knowledge).
Ability to define, refine, and execute prompts and instructions
Strong analytical skills to assess GenAI output quality and delivery readiness.

Key Responsibilities
Work with the wider team to refine the agents and ensure sustained usage of agents over time
Review, validate, and refine AI-generated SAP artifacts.
Assist in debugging and troubleshooting
Act as an SME and go to SME for SAP-specific GenAI use cases (e.g., FD/TD generation, test cases, interface mapping, BPH creation)
Apply SAP technical (ABAP / RAP) or functional expertise across FD, BRD, BPD, TD, and test artifacts.
Act as a SME in dev team on SAP terminology, context, and expected outputs from Agent framework
Act as a SME in dev team tuning prompts and instructions to improve output accuracy and usability.
Coordinate with wider SAP delivery teams and platform teams as needed
Coordinate with product engineering team, for any product enhancements for the agentic framework
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior professionals to help them develop their skills and grow within the organization.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP ABAP Cloud, Generative AI.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies.
- Experience with modern frameworks and agile practices.
- Proficient in debugging and optimizing code for performance.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
