Experience: Minimum 15 year(s) of experience Educational Qualification: Graduate in any stream Job Summary: The OTM Solution Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing transportation and logistics solutions using OTM. The role focuses on translating business supply-chain requirements into scalable technical solutions, leading system architecture decisions, and ensuring seamless integration between OTM and enterprise systems such as ERP, warehouse management, and external carrier platforms. The architect provides technical leadership across implementation projects, supports business transformation initiatives, and ensures best practices in transportation planning, execution, and analytics. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Solution Architecture & Design Design end-to-end transportation solutions using OTM. Define scalable system architecture aligned with business strategy. Lead solution blueprinting, configuration, and deployment planning. 2. Implementation & Delivery Leadership Lead OTM implementations from requirements to go-live. Configure planning, execution, freight settlement, and visibility modules. Ensure adherence to Oracle best practices and standards. 3. Integration & Technical Oversight Architect integrations with ERP, WMS, EBS, and cloud platforms. Design APIs, web services, and middleware integrations. Guide teams and conduct design reviews. 4. Stakeholder & Client Engagement Collaborate with business stakeholders on logistics requirements. Translate needs into functional and technical specifications. Facilitate workshops and act as a trusted advisor. 5. Governance, Quality & Best Practices Define configuration and documentation standards. Ensure solution quality, compliance, and risk management. Professional & Technical Skills: 1. Professional Expertise Strong stakeholder management and communication. Ability to lead cross-functional and global teams. Analytical problem-solving and documentation skills. Client-facing consulting and Project management exposure (Agile/Waterfall). 2. OTM Expertise Deep knowledge of Oracle Transportation Management. Transportation planning, routing, freight audit, and settlement. REST/SOAP integrations, Middleware platforms (Oracle Integration Cloud, MuleSoft, etc.), XML/JSON, and ERP integration (with Oracle ERP Cloud, EBS, SAP). OTM configuration (agents, workflows, automation agents), business rules, rate management, and SQL basics. Understanding cloud architecture and SaaS deployments. 3. Tools & Technologies Agile or hybrid methodologies. DevOps, release management and performance tuning and troubleshooting. Data analytics and reporting tools.
