The role combines functional expertise, technical oversight, and delivery leadership to ensure successful implementation aligned with business objectives. The Solution Lead acts as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources, ensuring solution quality, timely delivery, and adoption of best practices across transportation and logistics processes. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Solution Leadership and Delivery Lead end-to-end OTM delivery for implementations and enhancements. Own scope, design decisions, and outcomes. Coordinate functional, development, and integration teams. Align requirements with OTM capabilities. Support planning, estimates, and risk management. 2. Solution Design and Configuration Lead functional and technical design for OTM. Approve architecture and configuration approach. Oversee planning, execution, settlement, and visibility configuration. Ensure scalable, maintainable design aligned to best practices. 3. Integration & Co-ordination Oversee integrations with ERP, WMS, carriers, and external platforms. Ensure data consistency and process flow. Validate integration design, testing, and deployment readiness. 4. Stakeholder Management Primary liaison between business and delivery teams. Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and decisions. Translate needs into functional/technical requirements. Advise on transportation strategy and process improvement. 5. Governance, Quality & Best Practices Ensure standards, governance, and documentation. Lead reviews, testing alignment, and UAT support. Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement. Support production stabilization and issue resolution. Professional & Technical Skills: Professional Expertise Leadership and team coordination. Communication and stakeholder management. Balance business priorities and technical constraints. Decision-making and problem-solving. Lead workshops and drive consensus. Delivery ownership and accountability. Integrations via REST/SOAP APIs. Middleware (OIC, MuleSoft, etc.). XML/JSON and data mapping. ERP integration (Oracle ERP Cloud/EBS, SAP). OTM configuration (agents, workflows, automation). Business rules and rate management. SQL and database concepts. Cloud architecture and SaaS deployments. Tools & Technologies Agile/hybrid delivery methods. DevOps and release management.
