Summary:
As a Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and configuring software systems, either end-to-end or for specific stages of the product lifecycle. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that the software meets client requirements, applying your knowledge of technologies and methodologies to enhance project outcomes, and guiding your team through the software development process to achieve project goals effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Delivering global projects on business and IT transformation for refining or petrochemical/ Energy clients as Delivery lead or functional SME.
Lead client project delivery related to Upstream and Downstream Refining & Petrochemicals in Refinery Planning or Scheduling or operations management or mass balance offerings
Work on internal assignments within Accenture like Asset development, technical paper presentation, Knowledge content, sales collaterals, Go to Market materials etc.
Support the sales and solution design team at various stages the Project Sales / Delivery
Should have strong communication skills to handle client key stakeholders and the ability to lead the techno functional team

Professional & Technical Skills:
15+ years of overall Experience in Downstream Petroleum Refining and Petrochemicals
Knowledge of refinery Operations, refinery Configuration and business Process modelling
Hands on experience in either of the following applications like Mass/ Energy Balance using Belsim Vali or Aspen AORA model configurations
Should have application development or support experience in any of the refinery planning and / or Scheduling software applications like Aspen PIMS, Aveva Spiral or APS
Operations Management applications like Honeywell Dynamo / OMpro, Hexagon j5, Yokogawa RPO etc
Excellent proactive organizational skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines
Track record of devising and executing innovative marketing campaigns
Team management skills, leadership qualities
Persuasive communicator and assertive networker who builds relationships with both internal



Additional Information:
BE / BTech /ME/MTech Chemical Engineering or Refining / Petrochemical majors
Good to have MBA / PGDBA
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
