Job Purpose

The Risk Operations, Analytics and Insights role is responsible for owning cyber risk data, analytics, automation, and reporting across the enterprise.

This role enables leadership transparency and decision-making by redefining cyber risk information into accurate, automated, and data-driven dashboards, reports, and metrics. The role combines strong cyber risk domain expertise with sophisticated data visualization (Power BI), reporting automation, and operational risk governance.

This position acts as the analytics and reporting engine for Cyber Risk, sitting between strategic risk leadership and execution teams.

Key Responsibilities

Risk Analytics, Dashboards & Insights

  • Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade cyber risk dashboards using Power BI.

  • Develop and handle risk benchmarks, KRIs, heatmaps, trend analysis, and executive scorecards.

  • Translate cyber risk data into clear, actionable insights aligned to business impact.

  • Enable leadership views across risk exposure, remediation progress, control effectiveness, and residual risk.

Risk Operations & Reporting

  • Own end-to-end cyber risk reporting, including operational, executive, and senior leadership reporting.

  • Maintain and continuously enhance the cyber risk register, including scoring, prioritization, and tracking.

  • Support regular risk reviews, governance forums, and leadership updates with data-driven narratives.

Automation & Data Enablement

  • Drive automation of cyber risk data collection, aggregation, and reporting, reducing manual processes.

  • Integrate data from various sources such as GRC platforms, vulnerability tools, threat intelligence, audit & control data, and incident metrics.

  • Define standardized data models, metrics, and reporting structures for cyber risk.

  • Partner with technology and security teams to improve data quality and availability.

Cyber Risk Domain Ownership

  • Apply good understanding of cyber risk management frameworks to analytics and reporting outputs.

  • Assist in preparing risk materials for audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance assessments (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).

  • Track and report on risk remediation actions and control maturity.

Participant Engagement

  • Act as a trusted analytics partner to Cyber Risk leadership, Security teams, and Technology customers.

  • Present cyber risk insights to non-technical audiences in a clear, concise manner.

  • Support leadership in shifting discussions from technical issues to risk- and business-impact-based decisions.

Required Experience & Skills

Experience

  • 10+ Years proven ability in Cyber Risk, Information Security, Technology Risk, or Cyber GRC roles.

  • Proven experience in risk reporting, analytics, dashboards, and operational governance.

  • Experience working within large, sophisticated enterprise environments.

Cyber Risk Expertise

  • Good understanding of cyber risk management principles and methodologies.

  • Proven understanding of frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, COSO, FAIR.

  • Good understanding of IT, Cloud, and OT security risk profiles.

  • Experience supporting audits, regulatory reviews, and risk committees.

Data, Automation & Visualization Skills

  • Sophisticated hands-on expertise in Power BI (required), including:

    • Data modeling

    • DAX

    • Executive dashboards and visual storytelling

  • Good experience with risk metrics, data analysis, and reporting automation.

  • Proficiency in Excel & validated understanding of SQL / data querying is desirable.

  • Familiarity with GRC tools (e.g., ServiceNow GRC, Archer, Metric-Stream) is a strong advantage.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field.

  • Relevant certifications preferred:

    • CISSP, CISM, CRISC

    • FAIR Risk Analyst

    • Power BI or data analytics certifications (nice to have)
