Project Role Description : Manage day-to-day activities of a data center, including physical and security checks, physical tape/media management, assistance with physical vendor intervention (e.g. replacement of a part), act as "remote hands" for the administrator.

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary:
As a Data Centre Operator, you will oversee the daily operations of a data center, ensuring that all activities run smoothly and efficiently. Your typical day will involve conducting physical and security checks, managing physical tape and media, and providing assistance during vendor interventions. You will also serve as 'remote hands' for administrators, facilitating their tasks and ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. Your role is crucial in maintaining the integrity and security of the data center environment, contributing to the overall success of the operations team.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Monitor and maintain the physical security of the data center, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
- Assist in the management of physical media and tape, ensuring proper storage and retrieval processes are followed.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure IaaS.
- Strong understanding of data center operations and management.
- Experience with physical security protocols and procedures.
- Familiarity with vendor management and coordination.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues and perform basic repairs.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft Azure IaaS.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
