Database Admin II

We are seeking an experienced Azure SQL Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in managing, configuring, and optimizing Azure SQL databases, with hands-on experience in performance tuning, backup and recovery, security management, and high availability solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring database reliability, scalability, and compliance while collaborating with developers and IT teams to support business-critical applications. Candidates with 3+ years of SQL administration experience and proven knowledge of Azure cloud services are encouraged to apply.

Job Description:

• Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to live production systems.
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
• Apply data modelling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations.
• Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
• Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.
• Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in SQL Server and Azure SQL administration.
• Familiarity with database objects (tables, stored procedures, queries, etc.) a plus Good written and verbal communication skills
• Expertise in performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
• Proficiency in backup/recovery strategies and disaster recovery planning.
• Graduates BE, Btech, MCA, MSC, related technical field
• Comfortable working in Rotational shifts.
