What would you do? Industry X operations enables end-to-end operations integration through data & digital twin to operate client core processes and client product centric operations. Moving to an intelligent operating model powered by data, digital technologies and talent unlocked value at the seams IX Aftermarket Service Operations refers to the support and services provided after a product is sold. This includes maintenance, repairs, spare parts, customer support, and warranty services. The goal is to ensure customer satisfaction, extend the product s life, and maintain its performance. Define warranty offerings; run outsourced after-sales warranty support and entitlement programs; evaluate customer feedback and planned versus actual costs of warranty coverage; use warranty data analytics to reduce cost and improve product quality; increase recoveries from suppliers and design and deploy warranty solutions.
What are we looking for? Technical Skills: • Deep expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2), reliability engineering, and asset lifecycle management. • Advanced proficiency with EAM, CMMS, ERP, and project management tools (e.g., Primavera, SAP). • Strong understanding of industry standards (ISO, IEEE, NEMA) and ESG compliance. • Demonstrated experience with operational analytics, digital transformation, and technology adoption. Leadership & Interpersonal Skills: • Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication abilities. • Experience in talent development, succession planning, and building high-performing teams. • Ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement in large, multidisciplinary teams. • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills. Good to Have Skills (Oil & Gas Retail Outlets) • Experience managing capital projects or asset operations for oil and gas retail networks (e.g., fuel stations, convenience stores, EV charging infrastructure). • Knowledge of regulatory and safety requirements specific to oil and gas retail environments (e.g., hazardous materials handling, environmental compliance, site audits). • Familiarity with retail asset types: fuel dispensers, storage tanks, forecourt equipment, HVAC, electrical systems, and digital retail technologies. • Exposure to maintenance optimization, failure analysis, and deployment of virtual sensors or IoT solutions for retail assets. • Understanding of retail operations workflows, supply chain logistics, and customer experience considerations in oil and gas outlets. • Experience with sustainability initiatives, energy management, and emissions reduction strategies in retail asset portfolios. • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, HSE, commercial) in a retail context.
Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Capital Project Leadership (Design to Delivery) • Direct all phases of capital projects: requirements gathering, conceptual and detailed design, planning, execution, commissioning, and seamless handover to operations. • Establish and enforce robust project controls, governance frameworks, and risk management strategies. • Oversee cost estimation, procurement, contract management, and ensure comprehensive project documentation and knowledge transfer. • Engage with senior stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets. 2. Asset Operations & Reliability Management • Lead asset lifecycle management post-handover, focusing on reliability, availability, and performance optimization. • Implement advanced Reliability Engineering principles (RBM, RCFA, Condition Monitoring, RBI). • Oversee maintenance planning, execution, and continuous improvement using EAM, CMMS, and ERP systems. • Drive operational analytics, spares management, and digital enablement for predictive and preventive maintenance. • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and ESG standards. 3. Team Leadership & People Development • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of 100–150 professionals across engineering, operations, and support functions. • Foster a high-performance culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. • Champion talent development, succession planning, and organizational capability building. • Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide regular, constructive feedback. 4. Digital Transformation & Value Realization • Champion adoption of intelligent automation, analytics, and digital tools across project and operations phases. • Integrate asset and project data for seamless transition from design to operations, enabling continuous value delivery. • Leverage data-driven insights for strategic decision-making, risk containment, and performance improvement. 5. Stakeholder Management & Communication • Engage with executive leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams to align on objectives and deliverables. • Present performance updates, recommendations, and strategic plans to senior stakeholders and clients.
