Job Description
Job Title: Salesforce Tester (Functional & Automation)
Location: Bangalore
Job Summary –
As a Salesforce QA Tester, you will play a key role in validating the functionality and performance of our Salesforce applications through functional as well as automated testing. You will leverage your expertise in test automation frameworks and Salesforce to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Years of experience needed – 5-7 years of experience on Salesforce QA Testing – Manual and Automation
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, including its features, customization, and development.
Strong hands-on experience with UI automation on Java with Selenium (Mandatory).
Hands-on experience with BDD (Mandatory).
Knowledge on Playwright (Optional).
Mobile Automation with Appium (Optional).
Strong knowledge of automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Salesforce Lightning Testing, or other relevant tools).
Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
Familiarity with Salesforce development tools and languages (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components) is a plus.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Responsibilities:
1. Test Automation Development:
Design and develop automated test scripts for Salesforce applications using tools such as Selenium, Provar, or other relevant frameworks.
Maintain and enhance existing automated test scripts to improve coverage and efficiency.
2. Test Planning and Strategy:
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on project requirements and specifications.
3. Execution and Reporting:
Execute automated test scripts and analyse results to identify defects and performance issues.
Document and report test results, including defect reports, test logs, and test summaries.
4. Defect Management:
Identify, log, and track defects found during testing.
Work with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and verify fixes.
5. Continuous Improvement:
Continuously assess and improve test automation processes and methodologies.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Salesforce and test automation technologies.
6. Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure test requirements are met and issues are resolved.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on test progress and results.
7. Tool and Framework Utilization:
Utilize Salesforce-specific testing tools and frameworks, such as Provar, to automate test scenarios effectively.
Ensure that automation tools are integrated with CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
Certifications Needed:
Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, or similar certifications are preferred
QA certifications (with automation)
