Job Summary
To implement efficient, quality processes at ARPL in alignment with Global standards and strategy by implementing the procedures that comply with global procedures and Health authority requirements.
Serves as a Dy General Manager role within Indirect Procurement
Job Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation: Develop procurement strategies, negotiate for key categories like Opex & Capex, high-value contracts, and build relationships with suppliers to secure advantageous terms. Proven track record in high-stakes commercial negotiations
- Monitor PR to PO & OTIF performances: to ensure uninterrupted business operations. Addressing end user’s requirement by analysing the business need on war-foot basis.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with global procurement policies.
- Cost & Quality Optimization: Analyze MIS reports to reduce expenses and ensure materials meet project quality standards to attain zero rejections/production down time
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and build a strong procurement team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate vendor performance, develop new sources, and manage risk in the supply chain, by following GMP norms of ARPL
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., environmental or safety norms if any applicable).
- Analytical Proficiency: Expertise in spend analysis, market research, and using data for decision-making.
- Technical Tools: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems like SAP & Ariba,

- Education
- Any Engineering/ Postgraduate in Science with Materials Management
- Experience
- 12-16 years
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- ERP (SAP), ARIBA
- Good communication skill to maintain good interpersonal relation with internal customers & vendors.
