Deputy Manager - Embedded Systems

Role Overview : The Unit Tester will be responsible for validating and verifying embedded automotive software modules using the LDRA tool suite. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with industry safety standards (ISO 26262, MISRA C), achieving high code quality, and supporting functional safety requirements in automotive ECUs and related systems.

 

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables : 

- Develop, configure, and execute unit test cases using LDRA Testbed and TBrun
- Perform static and dynamic code analysis to identify defects and enforce coding standards (MISRA C)
- Ensure requirements traceability and maintain test documentation for compliance audits
- Conduct code coverage analysis (statement, branch, MC/DC) to meet ISO 26262 requirements
- Collaborate with developers to resolve defects and optimize test workflows
- Support integration testing and contribute to overall verification & validation strategy
- Provide detailed test reports and maintain regression test suites

 

Competencies:

- Prior experience in safety-critical automotive projects.
- Exposure to HIL/SIL testing environments.
- Certification in functional safety (ISO 26262) or equivalent.
- Familiarity with continuous integration pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
