Role OverviewThe Design Lead will own MediBuddy’s visual direction across motion and static formats. This role blends hands-on craft with leadership, ensuring world-class creative output across campaigns, CRM, social media, product marketing, and brand films. You’ll collaborate with Brand, Marketing, and Product teams, while mentoring designers and motion artists. Key Responsibilities 

• Creative Leadership & Direction

● Define and evolve the visual language of MediBuddy across motion, illustration, and static design.● Translate briefs into strong creative concepts, storyboards, campaign ideas, and final assets.● Review and elevate team output to maintain world-class design quality. 

• Motion Graphics & Video

● Lead motion graphic design for brand campaigns, explainers, ad films, product videos, UGC-style reels, and social content.● Own end-to-end storytelling – script alignment, storyboarding, animation, edits, and finishing.● Direct shoots (when required) and ensure smooth pre-production and post-production workflows.● Optimise videos for multi-format delivery (9:16, 16:9, 1:1) across platforms. 

• Static Design & Visual Communication

● Lead creation of static creatives including social media assets, CRM mailers, banners, ad creatives, landing pages, infographics, and presentation design.● Ensure brand consistency, strong typography, and high-quality visual design across all touchpoints.● Build scalable templates, guidelines, and visual systems for faster, consistent output. 

• AI, Innovation & Experimentation

● Experiment with AI tools (Midjourney, Runway, Kling, etc.) to accelerate workflow and generate new creative styles.● Introduce modern design approaches, new formats, and trend-aligned storytelling methods. 

• Team & Project Management

● Manage multiple fast-paced projects with clear prioritisation and timelines.● Work closely with cross-functional teams to bring campaigns and product narratives to life. Required Skills & Expertise● 7–8 years of experience across motion design + static design for brand/agency setups.● Strong mastery of Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma.● Deep understanding of animation principles, design systems, typography, color, and composition.● Ability to lead shoots, create storyboards, and direct visual storytelling.● Strong sense of brand, narrative structure, and performance-driven creative thinking.● Hands-on ability to execute when required, paired with team leadership capability.● Familiarity with AI-based creative tools and openness to adopt new workflows. Nice-to-Have Skills● Experience in building brand design systems.● Familiarity with UI/UX or product design basics.● Experience designing presentation decks.● Awareness of digital, social, and cultural trends that shape effective storytelling.
