DTA- Telecom (Testing Lead)

Proven experience leading testing for telecom billing or BSS/OSS transformation programs across multiple releases and environments. Hands-on expertise in API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, etc.), creating reusable collections, environments, and data-driven tests. Strong background in test automation for APIs, backend, or UI, partnering with automation teams to build scalable, maintainable frameworks. Demonstrated success improving test efficiency through enhanced regression coverage, reduced cycle times, and increased automation adoption. Experience working in Agile or hybrid models, contributing to sprint ceremonies and CI/CD pipelines from a quality standpoint. Ability to translate complex billing and business rules into effective positive, negative, and boundary test scenarios. Effective stakeholder communication, clearly articulating quality status, risks, and dependencies to business and technical leaders. Location Preferred- Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai Lead end-to-end test strategy and planning for telecom and billing systems, covering functional, integration, regression, and UAT. Analyze billing domains (rating, charging, invoicing, mediation, customer lifecycle) to design effective test scenarios and data aligned with business rules. Manage API and backend testing, validating data integrity and end-to-end flows across dependent systems. Promote automation-first testing by identifying high‑value regression areas and partnering with automation teams to build scalable test suites. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to clarify requirements, mitigate risks, resolve defects, and ensure release readiness. Define and track quality metrics (defect density, coverage, escape defects, execution progress) with clear stakeholder reporting.
