Job Description: eMerge Developer

What you’ll do:

What to Have for this position.

Must have Skills.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with software development of information systems – mandatory
• Experience with relational databases and SQL at a high level - mandatory.
• Graduate degree in computer science/information systems / Industrial Engineering - Advantage.
• Knowledge of eMerge/ COBOL/Shell Script / Data Modelling  - advantage
• Knowledge of JIRA – advantage
• Experience working in an Agile environment preferred
• Insurance domain experience is advantage
• Experience with Rules Based system - advantage
• Willingness to learn new technologies and invest time and effort to become proficient in these in a very short period
• Ability to create Technical Designs
• Ability to work both within a team and independently.
• Self-learning.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and spoken.
• Fluent English.
