Engineer
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
1. Key Tasks and Deliverables
- Ensure maximum uptime of instrumentation and test equipment in the lab.
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance for all test systems.
- Perform calibration of test and master equipment through OEMs or certified external agencies.
- Coordinate with suppliers for issue resolution and closure.
- Plan and manage procurement of spares and consumables.
- Maintain strong technical knowledge of IC & EV test cell measurement equipment.
2. Critical Must-Have Deliverables
- Consistent achievement of equipment uptime targets.
- Timely completion of scheduled maintenance and calibration activities.
- Effective supplier management for quick issue resolution.
- Accurate documentation of maintenance and calibration records.
3. Good-to-Have Deliverables
- Implementation of automation solutions for test equipment.
- Continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability.
- Contribution to cost optimization in spares and consumables procurement.
Experience
- 2–4 years for BE graduates or 6+ years for Diploma holders in instrumentation or related domains.
- Hands-on experience with automotive test measurement instruments (e.g., Dataloggers, DAQ modules, power supplies).
Industry Preferred
- Automotive R&D, Design, or Calibration.
- Engine development firms (e.g., FEV, AVL, Horiba).
- OEM suppliers specializing in instrumentation (e.g., Horiba, AVL, IASYS).
Qualifications
- Diploma or BE in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.

- Knowledge of automation, electronics, and engine/vehicle subsystems.
- Understanding of safety and quality standards.
- Dataloggers, DAQ modules, power supplies, calibration tools.
- OEM calibration processes and preventive maintenance techniques.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Customer focus and decision-making ability.
- Teamwork and manpower handling capabilities.
