 Roles & responsibilities

Role Overview:

The Associate 2 – Azure Data Engineer will be part of the GDC Technology Solutions (GTS) team, supporting the Audit Data & Analytics domain. This role is designed for professionals with 2–3 years of experience in data engineering and strong expertise in Azure technologies. The A2 will focus on delivering high-quality data transformation and integration solutions, contributing to audit engagements and internal projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

•Data Transformation & Integration •Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and PySpark. •Develop and maintain Python/PySpark notebooks for business logic implementation. •Integrate data from ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and other sources into Azure-based workflows. • •Workflow Development •Design and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks. •Apply optimization techniques for efficient data processing. •Audit Engagement Support •Collaborate with audit teams to extract and process client data. •Deliver accurate and meaningful insights through reports and dashboards. • •Quality & Compliance •Ensure adherence to audit methodology and data governance standards. •Maintain documentation for processes and workflows.

 Education Requirements

•B. Tech/B.E/MCA (Computer Science / Information Technology)

Technical Skills

•2–3 years in data engineering with strong exposure to Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, PySpark, and Python. •Proficiency in Azure, DataBricks Notebooks, SQL, Python or Pyspark notebooks development. •Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) •Knowledge of Azure cloud services •Experience in Alteryx and PowerBI for data analysis and visualization purpose. •Microsoft Fabric and Azure AI services is an added advantage
