Roles & responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Good Knowledge of SQL Server
Understanding of[DA]  Azure Synapse Analytics / Workspaces / App registrations
Knowledge of Synapse Integration with Azure data services like Azure Lake storage / Databricks / PowerBI
Knowledge of supporting Dedicated / Serverless SQL Pool, endpoint
Command line tools like - Azure PowerShell and Azure CLI
Experience in PowerShell
Possessing knowledge of operating systems, Networks, devices, applications and software installations
Providing technical support to teams within the organization, and to external clients when required
Experience in server(Cloud and OnPrem) monitoring
Assisting with systems integrations
Assisting in software deployments
Managing ticketed query system and ensuring comprehensive database of queries and resolutions is kept up to date
Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures
Identifying and resolving technical issues
Managing coordination at a local and international level where required
Preparing maintenance plans and upgrading schedules for the organization’s systems
Developing reports for teams across the business
Good Communication and coordination skills
Willing to work on weekend and night shifts

Mandatory  technical & functional skills
A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
Background in software support.
Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile and Waterfall)..
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
