Solve engineering problems and achieve business objectives using scientific, socio-economic, technical knowledge and practical experience. Work across structural and stress design, qualification, configuration and technical management.

Good to have skills : C# Programming Language, Dassault Systemes 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA
Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required

Summary
As a CAD Automation Engineer, you will design and develop automation and customization solutions that improve engineering productivity, quality, and consistency. You will work on .NET/C#-based applications to automate design, drafting, validation, and data extraction activities across CATIA (V5 / 3DEXPERIENCE), SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
The role involves close collaboration with design, stress, manufacturing, and IT teams to convert engineering rules, standards, and workflows into reliable software tools. You are expected to work independently, contribute technically, and grow into a Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop CAD automation tools, macros, utilities, and desktop add-ins
Automate 3D part modeling, assemblies, and 2D drawing creation and updates
Implement design standards, quality checks, and basic rule-based validations
Create tools for extracting CAD data such as parameters, properties, BOM, dimensions, and drawings
Support integration with downstream systems such as PLM, analysis, or reporting tools
Assist in customization of analysis or stress workflows (pre/post-processing, report automation)
Participate in technical discussions, solution design, and problem-solving
Document solutions, support users, and continuously improve automation frameworks
Work independently and gradually take ownership of modules or platforms as an SME


Technical & Professional Skills
Must Have

Strong experience in .NET Architecture
Proficiency in C# and desktop application development
Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)

Good to Have

Experience with CATIA V5 / 3DEXPERIENCE customization or automation
Exposure to SolidWorks API and AutoCAD .NET customization
Familiarity with engineering design workflows (mechanical/structural)
Basic knowledge of database usage and system integration

Minimum 2+ years of experience in .NET-based automation or customization
