Enterprise and Business Applications Specialist - Azure Data Factory & BI

4–7 years in Designing and building complex, end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to ingest, process, and transform data from diverse sources



Technical Skills:

- Expert-level knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF): including pipelines, activities, datasets, linked services, data flows, and Integration Runtimes.

- Proficiency in SQL/T-SQL: Strong skills for data analysis, querying, and developing stored procedures and functions.

- Azure Ecosystem: Familiarity with Azure services such as ADLS Gen2, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Databricks.

- DevOps & Version Control: Experience using source control (like Git) and implementing CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps for reliable deployments.

- Knowledge of tabular data modeling with Analysis Services (SSAS Tabular).

- Experience developing and publishing Power BI dashboards.

- Optimization of data pipelines, SQL queries, and reporting models.

- Proficiency in ticketing platforms (Jira, ServiceNow, etc.).

- Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards in BI.E23 Design and build complex, end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to ingest, process, and transform data from diverse sources(SQL Server, ERP, CRM,       APIs, files, etc.)

-Develop and manage Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) or Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) processes, ensuring data is clean, mapped, and optimized for storage and analysis.

-Implement automated workflows using ADF pipelines, including the configuration of schedules, event-based, or tumbling window triggers.

-Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance tuning recommendations to ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency.

-Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that support business intelligence and reporting needs.

-Document technical designs, data flows, and processes, while adhering to data governance practices and security standards.

Build and maintain data models in Tabular Analysis Services (Visual Studio + SSDT).

- Define relationships, hierarchies, measures, and KPIs using DAX.

- Design efficient structures for high-performance reporting.

Develop and publish interactive dashboards in Power BI.

- Implement advanced DAX measures and optimize models to improve loading times.

Translate business requirements into data solutions.

Support users in managing incident and support resolution.
