Equipment Process Lead – Commercial R2R

Job Description Summary

The Equipment Process Lead overseas accounting process related to equipment revenue recognition for GE Healthcare, ensure compliance, process efficiency and accurate financial reporting.
This role work with a global team (in-house and outsourced) and drives operational excellence in Record-to-report(R2R) process for equipment transactions.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial & Process Leadership

    • Ensure accurate month-end & quarter-end closing (journal entries, reconciliations, reporting for equipment-related accounts.

    • Lead audit coordination(internal/external) and maintain SOX compliance.

    • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.

    • Define and track KPIs to optimize team performance.

  • Team & Stakeholder Management

    • Build and mentor a high-performing team, (in-house and outsourced) supporting equipment accounting.

    • Act as the go-to expert for equipment-related accounting system (ERP, reporting tools).

    • Strengthen partnerships with cross-functional teams (Sales Operations, FP&A…) well as outsourced service providers.

    • Communicate financial insights as a part of financial risk review.

  • Technical Expertise

    • Apply U.S. GAAP principles to equipment revenue recognition arrangements.

    • Resolve complex equipment accounting issues (bundled contract, discounts, deferred revenue).

    • Ensure compliance with GE policies and financial controls for equipment transactions.
