What would you do? Process Overview Supports a series of common Operational KPI frameworks across General Insurance by conducting data validation, analysis and reporting. The frameworks provide dashboards and management materials that capture performance trends across the policy lifecycle. The outputs of the frameworks are utilized by Operations leaders across product, geography and function. Monthly engagements are held with the business to validate the KPIs and identify opportunities to drive improvements against internal and external targets. Each month the finalized material feeds into a series of regional governance forums including monthly MBRs, SMTs, ExCo’s and Board meetings.
What are we looking for? Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in any business or programming related courses • Minimum of 2-3 years working experience in analytics reporting & dashboard development • Must have intermediate to Advanced Excel skills. • Has experience working with relational databases such as MS Access • Understands both front end and back-end systems • Has excellent communication skills • With SQL knowledge and experience in working BI tools such as Power Bi, QlikView and Tableau • Ability to work independently and effectively without close supervision. • Preferably with experience working in an insurance industry
Roles and Responsibilities: Job Description • Works closely with AIG client based in Australia on a day-to-day basis • Build reports from scratch based on business requirements • Prepares monthly Reports/ Regular KPI Reports for APAC Regional Managements and Client Broker and Engagement, utilizing QlikView, Salesforce, EMIS & MS Excel • Prepares Reports and decks being used by management for various Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), both internal and external (QBRs with global brokers) ? Supply budget driver and other data inputs to Finance to assist completion of regional QBR results and presentations ? Supply data and generate presentation-ready formats for Business Units as needed QBR contributions or QBRs with global brokers • Performs Ad Hoc Insights and Analysis based on Business Partners/BU heads briefings in support of core regional and country strategies typically focused on new business, retention and cross-sell: ? Building tailored analytics insights and solutions from the ground up (creation from raw data, not existing global templates) ? Strong emphasis on data visualization and user experience, not just analytical content • Manages Report tables in QlikView to simplify the review of APAC KPI reports generated by the system (Report Manager) • Creates & maintains the Auto generated reports for Profit Center Managers and Heads in Salesforce to monitor new business submission volumes and quality in support of data management and new business pipeline health. • Performs other data cleaning and matching tasks required/needed in organizing and optimizing data management and quality, including Producer reference data management.
