As a Front Office Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing cutting-edge software solutions. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing robust, low-latency systems crucial for pricing, quoting, and hedging a diverse range of financial instruments, such as TBAs, USTs and Swaps. You will also develop innovative platforms that enable efficient risk and P&L management for our trading desks. A key aspect of your role will involve leveraging AI-driven analytics for sophisticated data analysis and to inform predictive pricing strategies.

Business Unit Overview

This hiring is for Mortgage Flow Technology team which is part of Fixed Income Currencies & Commodities Technology group in India. Mortgage Tech team works closely with the Mortgage Agency and Non-Agency trading desks globally providing digital solutions to business problems.

The India Mortgage tech team is undergoing initiatives to build new and innovative solutions for data capture and visualization in addition to re-engineering our existing trading systems and applications. We also have a deep pipeline of business requirements to automate trading workflows using AI to provide competitive advantage to our desk and increase client share.

Responsibilities And Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
• 4 plus years of work experience
• Solid understanding of Object Oriented programming in one or more languages (Java, C/C plus plus)
• Strong problem solving skills with good understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Energetic, self-directed, and self-motivated
• Experience collaborating in global teams and possesses strong interpersonal skills and ‘Client Touch’
• Experience in using AI coding assistants or agentic tools for development

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Git, awareness of CI/CD and other modern SDLC practice
• Experience in linux operating systems
• Familiarity with SQL and No SQL databases
• Experience in hosting software on public cloud platforms
• Knowledge of financial markets.
• Adaptability to different technologies to suit the problem including some proprietary technologies.
