Job Description: Cloud Architect

Job Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Cloud Architect to join our global enterprise team. You will be responsible for designing and creating the architectural patterns for deploying and operating a wide range of Azure Data and AI services on our digital platform. Your work will be crucial in enabling our organization to leverage over 40 cloud services securely and efficiently, with a primary focus on Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and create deployable architecture patterns for Azure services, with a focus on Data, AI, containers, and serverless offerings.
• Develop and implement security baselines and guardrails for our cloud platform using a codified approach with Terraform.
• Automate the deployment and operation of cloud infrastructure.
• Act as a hands-on, detail-oriented, and adaptable member of the team, capable of adjusting to changing priorities.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure that architectural solutions meet both business and technical requirements.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong, hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure is a must.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform, for automation.
• Experience in creating reusable architecture patterns, security baselines, and codified guardrails.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native principles and technologies, including containers and serverless computing.
• Experience with Azure's Data and AI service portfolio.
• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a must.  

Preferred Qualifications:

• While more experience is desired, it is not mandatory.
• Experience working in an enterprise environment with mature agile practices (SAFe).
