Position Summary/Purpose: Overview of the basic function and purpose of the jobThe Project Manager will lead complex multi-vendor integration projects within the Global Mobility Services (GMS) technology landscape. This role requires strong stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and technical understanding to ensure seamless delivery of integrated solutions aligned with business objectives. The Project Manager will act as the central point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams, driving governance, risk management, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients to ensure successful integration of systems and processes, supporting GMS’s commitment to innovation and client excellence.
The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in managing multi-vendor integration projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, technical acumen, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments. This role involves planning, execution, and governance of integration projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and compliance with client requirements.
1. Stakeholder & Client Management- Act as the primary liaison between the client and all internal/external teams.
- Understand client goals, priorities, and business context.
- Facilitate governance meetings, steering committees, and status reviews.
- Define and manage roles, responsibilities, and integration points across vendors.
- Ensure smooth collaboration and communication between vendors.
- Monitor vendor deliverables, SLAs, and integration timelines.
- Resolve cross-vendor dependencies and conflicts.
- Develop and maintain a master project plan covering all streams and vendors.
- Track milestones, dependencies, and integration checkpoints.
- Ensure alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
- Maintain a risk register and proactively mitigate risks.
- Escalate and resolve issues impacting delivery or integration.
- Manage scope changes through a structured change control process.
Possess sufficient technical understanding to:
- Grasp infrastructure setup (e.g., cloud, on-prem, hybrid).
- Understand integration architecture, APIs, data flows, and security protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and DevOps teams.
- Be able to ask the right questions and challenge assumptions when needed.
- Be inclined to learn and understand the GMS business domain.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
- Ensure the solution aligns with business processes and value drivers.
- Provide transparent, concise, and timely updates to all stakeholders.
- Prepare dashboards, reports, and escalation summaries.
- Ensure alignment across all parties on goals, timelines, and changes.
- Ensure vendors adhere to quality standards and project requirements.
- Coordinate integration testing, UAT, and defect triaging.
- Validate that the final solution meets business and technical expectations.
- Ensure compliance with client policies, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain audit trails, documentation, and approvals.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and responding to RFPs.
- Collaborate with pre-sales, solution architects, and business teams.
- Ensure proposals are aligned with client needs, feasible, and competitive.
- Coordinate demo environments, data setup, and walkthroughs.
- Work with technical teams to ensure the demo reflects real-world scenarios.
- Present or support client demos to showcase solution capabilities and progress.
- Track and manage project budgets, forecasts, and actuals.
- Monitor vendor costs, resource allocations, and billing cycles.
- Ensure alignment with client contracts, SOWs (Statements of Work), and financial governance.
- Flag potential overruns and recommend corrective actions.
- Support invoicing, cost recovery, and financial reporting.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of project management experience in multi-vendor environments.
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Technical understanding of integration architecture, APIs, and infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Financial awareness and ability to manage budgets effectively.
- High adaptability in dynamic, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Ability to bridge the gap between business and technology.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative mindset.
