Job Summary

As a GTM Consultant -Data Products, you will help design and execute go-to-market strategies for data-focused products, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals. This role requires a blend of product marketing expertise, stakeholder collaboration, and familiarity with data governance practices to drive product adoption and market success. You will play a key role in creating and refining product positioning, messaging, and launch plans, while also engaging with cross-functional teams to measure outcomes and continuously improve product offerings.

Roles & Responsibilities

GTM Strategy & Execution

  • Assist in the development and execution of go-to-market plans for new and existing data products.
  • Outline timelines, deliverables, and success metrics to ensure smooth product launches.

Messaging & Positioning

  • Develop clear, compelling messaging that integrates data quality and governance best practices.
  • Create sales collateral, marketing content, and presentations that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Sales Enablement & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with sales teams to align on product value propositions, competitive differentiators, and key selling points.
  • Organize and deliver training sessions, workshops, or materials to enhance sales readiness and product expertise.

Competitive Analysis & Market Research

  • Conduct market research and competitive analyses to identify data product differentiation opportunities.
  • Provide insights to product and marketing teams, ensuring adjustments are made for continuous market relevance.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with product managers, data governance specialists, and marketing leads to drive consistent product narratives.
  • Leverage internal networking channels (e.g., Townhalls, Intranets) for product announcements, feedback loops, and stakeholder engagement.

Data-Driven Improvements

  • Track and analyze product performance metrics, user feedback, and sales data to refine GTM strategies.
  • Incorporate data quality and governance considerations into ongoing product innovation and adoption strategies.

Leadership & Innovation

  • Provide thought leadership on product marketing best practices, emerging data trends, and innovation opportunities.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning, open communication, and collaboration within and across teams.

Professional & Technical Skills

Product Marketing & GTM Expertise

  • Proven track record of supporting successful product launches, including positioning, messaging, and marketing collateral development.
  • Experience developing and executing GTM strategies that drive customer engagement and revenue growth.

  • Ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, from senior leaders to end-users.
  • Skilled in connecting high-level strategic objectives with tangible marketing and sales outcomes.
