Primary Skills

Develop and maintain integration solutions: Utilize IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), API Connect, and MQ to create robust and scalable integration solutions that meet business requirements.
Deploy and configure IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I): Implement and manage CP4I on cloud platforms and RedHat OpenShift Container Platform, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
Design and develop API proxies: Create API proxies with policy configurations on IBM API Connect, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange.
Monitor and optimize integration environments: Regularly assess the performance and health of integration environments, addressing any issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
Collaborate with development teams: Work closely with developers to design, develop, deploy, and test new integrations, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Implement security protocols: Apply OAuth2.0, SAML, JWT, and SSO to secure integration solutions, ensuring data integrity and compliance with security standards.
Develop and maintain documentation: Create comprehensive documentation and procedures for IBM CP4I administration, facilitating knowledge sharing and support.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues: Address and resolve complex technical issues related to integration solutions, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal performance.
Utilize CI/CD tools: Employ tools like Git, Jenkins, and Nexus to automate deployment processes, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual intervention.
Implement containerized applications: Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring scalability and flexibility.

Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications.1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.5. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.
