Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager - Quality Management

Bosch Automotive Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. (RBAI) is a 100% subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH . Established in 2009, in Naganathapura - Bengaluru, RBAI is primarily focused in manufacturing electronic products for the automotive sector. RBAI has consistently added an average of one product every year resulting in a wide range of products comprising – Engine Control Units (ECU) for both 4W and 2W, Body Control Modules (BCM), ECUs for ABS, DC-DC Converters, iTraMS (Intelligent communication control unit) to name a few. RBAI also produces products for  eMobility like MCU (Motor control Unit), C-Box (Communication Box), VCUs (Vehicle Control Unit), Central gateway modules and is geared up for other futuristic products.  RBAI with its diverse portfolio, not only caters to local markets, but also exports products to all major global customers. • Collaboratively work with Lead plant product planning ,product development team, international production plants and other cross functional teams to ensure quality standards during New Product Introduction (NPI) at Bosch International Production Network.
• Responsible to ensure series production readiness for new product launch.
• Participate in project meetings with cross functional teams and ensure quality standards throughout industrialization phase 
• Responsible for handling customer claims (0 km and field failure) - Lead analysis and solely responsible to provide 8D to the customer.
• Single point of contact for any customer queries for claim handling
• Responsible to review and approve Engineering Change Request (ECR)
• Lead and participate Q-Task forces together with customer/supplier and internal teams for root cause analysis of complex ECU failures
• Participate in Quality gate reviews and ensure adherence to standards before launch of product into series production
• Assess risks related to new product introduction (NPI) activities and ensure proper actions to mitigate them. 
• Participate in the P-FMEA and D-FMEA
• Relocation audits , Line release audits, Process release audits
• Interaction with global teams to derive solutions for evolving customer needs
• Initiation and coordination of investigations concerning internal stakeholders such as ECU Manufacturing plants, Development teams etc.
• Ensure New product launch with out any Quality deviation and as project milestones
• Meeting the deadline for claims handling

BE in Electronics

• Experience in electronic product manufacturing (in Surface Mount Technology and Final assembly area) in automotive sector
• Knowledge of quality methods (8 D-procedure, FMEA, CP, PPAP, SPC, technical statistics)
• Knowledge on IATF 16949, VDA 6.3 and ISO 9001:2015
• 14 Q-Tools.Experience in SAP systems
• Good understanding of Electronics manufacturing process, tools and systems
• Experience/ knowledge of Bill-of-Material (BOM), schematic, layout
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate risk and requirements management.
• Understanding of end-to-end product development life cycle
