Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize large-scale data processing pipelines using Spark (Scala)

· Implemented robust, reusable, and efficient data transformation logic leveraging advanced functional programming techniques.

· Develop and maintain Hive-based data models and ETL processes

· Schedule and manage workflows using Oozie / Airflow

· Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated build, test, and deployment

· Build and manage project dependencies using Maven or SBT

· Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize Spark jobs for performance and scalability

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Analysts, Architects, and Business stakeholders

· Ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency across pipelines

· Designed and optimized end-to-end data-ingestion workflows across diverse sources, including multiple file formats, RDBMS, and NoSQL systems.

Good to Have

· Experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration

· Knowledge of Docker (containerization)

· Exposure to Kubernetes for deployment and scaling

· Experience with Kafka / streaming pipelines

Mandatory skill sets:

Business Analysis, BRD, FRD, Requirement Gathering

Preferred skill sets:

Financial Service domain experience, Tableau, power BI
