Informatica BDM Professional

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking an experienced Informatica BDM (Big Data Management) professional to join our team. This role is integral in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database systems that power our business operations and support our strategic objectives. As a key contributor to our data management team, you will ensure data integrity, availability, and performance, driving business value through effective database solutions.

Software Requirements

  • Required:

    • Proficiency in relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL
    • Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Cassandra
    • Experience with database administration tools such as SQL Management Studio and Oracle Enterprise Manager
  • Preferred:

    • Knowledge of cloud-based database solutions, including AWS RDS and Azure Database

Overall Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain database systems to meet evolving business needs.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance, addressing issues proactively.
  • Implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data availability and integrity.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database schemas that support application requirements.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in database administration to drive continuous improvement.

Technical Skills (By Category)

  • Databases/Data Management:

    • Required: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL
    • Preferred: MongoDB, Cassandra
  • Cloud Technologies:

Experience Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Certifications in database administration, such as Oracle Certified Professional or Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, are preferred
