Information Security Engineer- Advanced

Executes security controls, defenses and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce and web-based systems.

• SOC Threat Intelligence Analysts -  
• Collect and analyze data related to potential threats and provide actionable intelligence.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, analyze security threats, and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Technical Skills:
• Cybersecurity Knowledge: Understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and security frameworks like NIST, ISO 270001, CIS Controls as well as be familiar with ORCA, Nucleus vulnerability tools 
• Soft Skills:
• Problem-Solving : strong analytical and problem solving abilities to address complex security challenges 
• Decision-making: make informed decisions quickly in high demanding situations 
• Adaptability: able to adapt to process changes based on treat and evolving technologies 
• Collaboration: ability to work with other business units

Responsibilities:

• Creates successful efforts to compromise systems security and designs countermeasures
• Manages audits hardware, software and network firewalls and encryption protocols
• Manages security policies to control physical and virtual access to systems
• Executes highly important information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information and systems
• Internal or external, client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions
• Manages complex company-wide, web-enabled solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree Required. Advanced degree preferred
• 8-12 years of experience
• Ability to implement new systems and tools
• Experience managing IT documentation processes
• Advanced analytical skills
• Advanced demonstration of project managing IT solutions
• Manages in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvement
