Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesMeet clients to understand design requirements, budget, and timelines
- Develop interior design concepts, layouts, mood boards, and material selections
- Prepare space planning, 2D drawings, and 3D visualizations
- Select finishes, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and décor elements
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, carpenters, electricians, and vendors
- Prepare BOQs, estimates, and design specifications
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design quality
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and client approvals
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Handle design changes and resolve on-site issues effectively
- Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s/Diploma in Interior Design or related field
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer (residential/commercial)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, or similar software
- Strong understanding of materials, finishes, lighting, and furniture
- Good communication and client-handling skills
- Knowledge of site execution and project coordination
- Creative thinking with attention to detail
