About the Role

This internship position is for a Test Engineer within the Car Audio division, offering a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in embedded software development for next‑generation automotive audio systems. This is a full-time, fixed-term (9‑month) role based in Bangalore, India, and requires working from the office to closely collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams.

What You Will Do

  • Contribute to the development and testing of software following a defined software development process.
  • Work on code implementation, developing unit test plans, integration test plans, and verifying functionality.
  • Develop embedded C code and Python scripts.
  • Gain hands-on experience with software development tools such as debuggers, emulators, and compilers.
  • Perform functional testing on corresponding project hardware.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Strong coding abilities in C and Embedded Systems.
  • Good exposure to scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
  • Familiarity with real-time operating systems.
  • Ability to use an oscilloscope and logic analyzer for troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of embedded operating systems.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.

Bonus Points if You Have

  • BE/B. Tech in Computer Science / Electronics
  • Knowledge of C++.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of CAN protocols.
