OVERVIEW

You will be a member of the Cyber Security Group of Johnson Controls and will work under the supervision of senior team members. The role focuses on learning and assisting in managing cyber security projects, operations and exploring new opportunities. Additionally, the Intern will closely coordinate with various teams working on Cyber Security, Cloud, IT Networks, End-user computing, Office 365, and other critical platforms of this large organization. A significant level of multitasking and a highly proactive approach to work are essential for success in this role

POSITION: IT INTERN – CYBER SECURITY

Cyber Security Interns will work alongside the Professional Senior team to ensure the security of the enterprise assets. Interns will be responsible for-

• Discovering vulnerabilities and risks in networks, software systems, and data centers with ongoing vulnerability scans, monitoring network data, and ensuring hardware and software applications are updated.
• Identify critical digital assets and how threats or cybercriminals could exploit them.
• Reviewing existing security policy documents and generating new policy documentation. Interns can also assist in creating security awareness training assets and support internal training activities.

PREFERRED DEGREE BACKGROUND:

• Computer Science
• Information Technology
