What you'll do

In your new role, you’ll engineer and maintain innovative, customer centric, high performance, secure and robust solutions.

You will work with various stakeholders and share the technical expertise within an agile, collaborative organization. You will join our bank as it's transforming its architecture, pushing forward with innovative solutions in various technologies. You will be joining Release Management Core team, providing release, environment and batch engineering services for the Avaloq platform.

You’ll also be:

• Producing complex and critical software rapidly and of high quality which adds value to the business
• Working in permanent teams who are responsible for the full life cycle, from initial development, through enhancement and maintenance to replacement or decommissioning
• Collaborating to optimise our software engineering capability
• Designing, producing, testing and implementing our working code
• Working across the life cycle, from requirements analysis and design, through coding to testing, deployment and operations

The skills you'll need

You’ll need a background in software engineering, software design, architecture, and an understanding of how your area of expertise supports our customers.

To join us in this role, you'll have an expert understanding of running complex projects spanning multiple scrum and non-scrum teams. You’ll look after all tasks related to IT operations release planning. You will be responsible for managing releases and improvement projects, preparation of environments and handling of code changes from integration to installation. Our ideal candidate will need to have some experience in Avaloq.

You’ll also need:

• Experience with either Oracle, PL/SQL or Linux
• Close collaboration with Test Management and Release Delivery Services to ensure high quality releases
• Planning and execution of deployment activities including active participation in cutover management
• Support of release management and development related environment, building into the code assistant to ensure coding quality
• Set up and monitoring of release environments, regular execution of environment health and sanity checks, troubleshooting and resolution of environment issues
