Job Description
- Take ownership of all AMS support issues in various Java applications as a Support Developer
- Sound knowledge of Java technologies and SQL
- Good understanding of unit testing methodologies
- Excellent analytical skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Maintain relationships with key project stakeholders, IT, and Business teams to understand application issues
- Resolve incidents reported from application users as per SLA defined for various priorities (P1/P2/P3/P4/P5)
- Work on Business Service Requests for changes needed
- Analyze requirements from Business on minor enhancements and propose solutions within the support scope
- Identify repetitive production issues and investigate for permanent resolutions
- Coordinate with the Development team on various project deployments and knowledge transitions
- Participate in daily and weekly operational meetings with Business and IT support teams
- As a lead, coordinate with all team members offshore to resolve priority issues and avoid business impact
- Able to lead and drive customer meetings on priority issues related to major incidents impacting business
