5+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development. Strong to expert-level knowledge of Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud. Deep experience building and maintaining microservices-based architectures. High proficiency in Hibernate, JPA, relational (Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases. Solid experience with Redis or similar caching frameworks. Hands-on experience with JUnit, Mockito, REST Assured, Cucumber, Selenium, or similar tools. Strong understanding of TDD, test automation, and Shift‑Left testing practices. Expertise in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and monitoring of backend applications. Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to lead complex technical initiatives. Experience with API Gateways (Spring Cloud Gateway), Service Discovery (Eureka), Distributed Tracing (Zipkin). Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes. Understanding of code quality tools like SonarQube or CheckStyle. Knowledge of backend security concepts: OAuth2, JWT, Spring Security. Design, develop, and optimize backend services using Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud. Architect and implement microservices-based solutions focused on scalability, reliability, and performance. Implement data access layers with Hibernate, JPA, and work with Oracle & MongoDB. Utilize Redis or equivalent tools for distributed caching and performance improvements. Apply TDD, Shift‑Left testing, and automated testing practices throughout development. Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure high-quality deliverables. Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize application performance and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, secure, and maintainable solutions. Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance during design and implementation.
