JAVA Backend Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Developer to join our team and work on web-based applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing backend services, handling integration tasks, and building scalable microservices architectures. Knowledge of Python is a plus, and experience with Spring Boot is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend components for web-based applications.
• Build and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Handle system integration tasks, ensuring seamless communication between various applications and services.
• Write efficient, testable, and reusable code.
• Work closely with frontend developers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth development process.
• Optimize and improve system performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and the development of best practices.
• Maintain technical documentation for the backend services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Java Backend Developer, preferably with 3+ years of experience in developing web-based applications.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot for building microservices.
• Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with system integration tasks (SOAP, REST, messaging queues).
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot backend issues.

Preferred Skills:

• Python knowledge is an advantage.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
