What you'll do:

We are seeking a Junior Site Reliability Engineer with 0–2 years of experience to join our growing
team. This role is ideal for engineers who are interested in cloud-native technologies, system reliability,
and observability, and are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
You will work closely with senior engineers and development teams to support the reliability,
monitoring, and performance of distributed cloud-based applications.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
• Support monitoring and reliability efforts for HPE Networking SASE products
• Contribute to setting up and maintaining dashboards and alerts using tools like Prometheus and
Grafana
• Monitor application health and respond to alerts
• Troubleshooting of production issues and contribute to identifying root causes
• Participate in incident management activities and adhere to standard response processes
• Analysing data from monitoring tools to identify trends and potential issues
• Support maintenance of Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications to ensure high
availability of cloud based applications
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application behaviour in production
• Participate in on-call rotations

What you need to bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 0–2 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or related roles (including internships)
• Basic understanding of:
o Monitoring tools (Grafana / Prometheus / Datadog)
o Logs, metrics, and dashboards
• Familiarity with:
o Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
o Containers and Kubernetes
• Basic knowledge of:
o Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS)
• Willingness to contribute and learn incident management processes
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)• Willingness to work in night shifts / on-call environment
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
• Exposure to scripting (Python / Shell)
• Familiarity with Linux systems
• Curiosity to learn distributed systems and cloud architectures
• Interest in automation and reliability engineering
