KDNI_SAP_ FIORI/UI5_Assistant Manager
Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, deploy, optimize, and maintain SAP Fiori/SAPUI5 applications using HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, XML, JSON, and OData services.
- Collaborate with business users, UX/UI designers, ABAP and functional consultants to gather requirements and deliver user-centric, responsive UIs.
- Customize and extend standard SAP Fiori apps; configure Fiori Launchpad (catalogs, groups, tiles).
- Integrate UI5 apps with S/4HANA, SAP Gateway, non-SAP systems using OData, RFC, AJAX, or REST APIs.
- Conduct unit testing, UAT support, and performance tuning; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Create and maintain documentation: technical specs, coding guidelines, deployment plans, user manuals.
- Stay current with SAP UI5/Fiori best practices and emerging tools (Fiori Elements, UI Theme Designer, SAP BTP, CAP).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 5–8+ years of SAP development experience, with 3+ years specifically in SAPUI5/Fiori.
- Strong proficiency in SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, XML, and JSON.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Fiori design principles, Launchpad configuration, UI Theme Designer.
- Expertise in OData, SAP Gateway, Fiori Elements, CDS annotations; familiarity with ABAP backend integrations.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Web IDE, Business Application Studio, and Git-based version control.
- Familiarity with SAP BTP, CAP/RAP, and cloud-native frameworks is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
- SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP Fiori Application Developer or equivalent.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps in SAP landscape.
- UX/UI awareness, responsive and accessible design adherence.
- Prior leadership experience mentoring junior developers or coordinating with cross-functional teams.
