SAP Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling Consultant

Role Responsibilities:

• PPDS solution design: Ability to drive the business need discussions mapping the requirements to SAP systems and design the process for client. Should have exposure to do the configuration as per designed solution
• PPDS solution development, testing and deployment: In depth knowledge of PPDS solution development with an ability to support SAP solution deployment considering the industry’s best practices.
• Actively participating in periodic meetings, proactively identifying, and highlighting risks/gaps in the client processes
• Provide overall architecture recommendations including integration scenarios with PP, OTC, Purchasing

 

Requirement:

• 4-7 years of experience in SAP implementation projects
• Excellent Communication Skills (Written & Verbal) – Individual should be able to drive discussions with cross geography counterparts
• Demonstrated experience in the PPDS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) module of SAP APO or S/4HANA advanced planning, including 1-2 full life cycle project implementations (preferably in S/4 HANA).
• 3+ years of SAP S/4 HANA experience and at least 1-2 S/4 HANA end to end implementation experience
• Thorough understanding of business process and PPDS functionalities including master data/transaction data integration, production planning, detailed scheduling heuristics and optimizer, Block planning, setup optimization, finite/infinite scheduling in DS board
• Perform necessary SAP configurations, write detailed functional specifications (FSD) for development of ABAP custom programs, testing and implementing the solution
• Integration experience with other modules like PP, SD and MM
• Good Knowledge of various industry business processes such as Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing, CPG, Retail, Chemicals, etc.
• Participate in strategic initiatives within the organization which adds value and create opportunities.
• Have actively participated in RFI/RFP related activities. 

 

Must-Have Certifications

• SAP S/4 HANA Production planning and manufacturing
• APICS (CPIM, CSCP) would be an added advantage

 

Experience & Background 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent education
• Exp Level: 4-7 Years of SAP consulting experience with 1-2 full lifecycle implementations in S/4 HANA PPDS
• Location: Bangalore
