L2 Support Engineer | 5 TO 9 Years | Bangalore

Job Description

  • Should be strong in UNIX/ LINUX (any one)
  • Should be strong in SQL and PL/SQL (any one)
  • Knowledge in Java (For L3 Should be good with Java)
  • Experience in Production support
  • Strong in problem solving with troubleshooting and debugging
  • Database: Stored Procedure and Query Optimization knowledge
  • Effective verbal & written communication skills
  • Should be good in ITIL process like Knowledge Management, Incident Management and Ticket Management
  • Strong understanding of Linux operating systems
  • Hands on experience using Unix commands, writing shell scripts, building small tools (non-negotiable this will be assessed in the interview)
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, out of the box thinker, ability to connect dots when presented with disjoint data set (non-negotiable this will be assessed in the interview)
  • Understanding of existing Java infrastructure, ability to identify bottlenecks and suggest changes etc
