Lead Assistant Manager

Digital Service Project Accountant Responsibilities

 

Maintain and Update NetSuite Commission Report/subledger (GP GL acct#’s 1250 & 4020)

Based on data files from NetSuite vendor portal: Billed Commissions and Paid Commissions.

Add new contracts/invoicing to Excel subledger.  Used as support to recognize revenue and to establish commission receivable from NetSuite.

Prepare monthly billed commission revenue and receivable JE.

Ensure that file balances to GL for both commission receivable and revenue.

Maintain and Update Microsoft, ISV, MDF and Other Commission Receivables Report/subledger  (Great Plains GL acct #’s 1270, 1275, 2175 & 4275)

Based on data from vendor portals.

Update Excel subledger with monthly activity.  

Prepare monthly earned commission revenue and commission expense JE’s.

Deferred SW Revenue   (GP acct# 2165 & 4265)

Update Excel subledger with monthly activity (if any).  

Prepare monthly CSP billing and CSP accrual files (booked in STAR / Nav only)

Based on 4 to 5 monthly files pulled from the 3 Microsoft portals.

Add new activity to the data file and obtain client billing rates.

Once billing control file is completed, have STAR invoices created by India team.

Prepare monthly hosted billing file (booked in STAR / Nav only)

Most billing is consistent from month to month though some changes may need to be incorporated.

Add new activity to the data file and obtain client billing rates.

Once billing control file is completed, have STAR invoices created by available resources.
