Legal Entity Control - Analyst

As a Legal Entity controller in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform legal entity accounting and control monthly, including month-end close, parent/child accounting, equity pickup, inter-entity break reviews, and monitoring of unnatural general ledger balances.
- Conduct month-end analytical reviews to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial statements; prepare contributions to the Monthly Controller’s Book, legal entity and line-of-business commentary, and required regulatory reports.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve issues; respond to ad hoc queries promptly and thoroughly.
- Assist with Booking Model reviews and monitor ongoing compliance with the Legal Entity Control Standard.
- Control intercompany activity, including preparing variance analyses and commentary.
- Monitor the general ledger, including consolidation and netting activities, to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Participate in firmwide legal entity reporting projects, driving infrastructure and process improvements and supporting other Controller initiatives as needed.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Minimum 1 year experience in an analytical and financial role and should have worked experience in controllership
Understanding of financial statement structures and US GAAP / IFRS or any local GAAP
Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor’s degree required, CA/MBA (Finance) an advantage
Knowledge of Tableau and Alteryx will be an added advantage
Should be flexible to work in EMEA shifts
