Job Overview:

As a Kitchen Helper (Commis 3) at Qissa, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations by assisting in the preparation of traditional Arabic dishes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Arabic cuisine under the guidance of our experienced chefs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients and simple dishes under the supervision of senior chefs.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and organizing supplies.
• Help with the receipt and storage of deliveries, ensuring proper food rotation and storage practices.
• Support the kitchen team in maintaining hygiene and safety standards according to health regulations.
• Participate in basic cooking tasks and learn the fundamentals of Arabic cuisine.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Manager.
